Free legal assistance in civil and domestic cases is provided to indivduals who are low income, disabled, and elderly. Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV) handles a variety of legal issues and problems including: adoption, automobile accidents, bankruptcy, business law, abuse, child support, consumer law, custody, discrimination, domestic relations law, emancipation of minors, employment/labor law, garnishments, guardianship, insurance, juveniles, landlord/tenant, public benefits, real estate, separation/divorce, sexual harassment, worker's compensation, wills, powers of attorney, advance medical directives, and other miscellaneous issues. Income guidelines may vary for individuals over age 60, contact for details. LSNV does not represent clients in criminal,traffic, or immigration cases.
